Part of my experimentations during my 'Magic Reality' project for my Masters degree was using a technique called Shibori to dye fabric. Shibori involves physically manipulating fabric by means of twisting, tying and stitching to create resists. The fabric is then dyed and the resists in the material help to create the pattern.
The last few months have been spent focusing on the final project for my MA, which I handed in yesterday for the final assessment. We spent this week installing our work for the degree show at the end of the month and I was really pleased with the result. You can read more detail about my Magic Reality project here.
