Welcome to my personal photography blog. My name is Camilla Fellas. If you'd like to find out more about why I set up this space, keep reading!

Photography has been a passion of mine since I got my first camera around the age of 11 or 12. I can't explain it but I love the whole process of taking photos. Over the years I've photographed everything from landscapes to pets and have recently moved into wedding and portrait photography which can be found on my professional site: Jamiri Photography.

My dad bought me this domain name back in 2001 back when I was exploring graphic and web design. It has had many iterations from being a personal blog to a portfolio for my graphic design work as I was a freelance graphic designer for several years after I left university. Most recently, it served as a gateway website as I decided to split my graphic design and photography work but I have since stopped doing graphic design in order to focus on my photography career.

So why have I set this site up?

I love photography. All of it. Any of it. I don't mind what I photograph as it's the process of photography that I love more than anything. But while I have set up my professional site to focus on my wedding and portraiture work, I still want to experiment and explore other aspects of photography. You might think I could very easily do that myself anyway without putting it online but I find the process of blogging what I'm doing and creating an online portfolio incredibly useful as it helps me organise and process the work I have created, as well as giving me an easily accessible record of it. If I printed all my projects, I would soon run out of storage space in cupboards so this site gives me an easy way to organise my thoughts and evaluate my work - and perhaps someone may stumble upon my work and like what they see.

I hope you enjoy looking round at some of my work. I have several projects in mind that I intend to develop so watch this space!
